2009 / Mozambique / International Microfinance and Microenterprise (IMM)
The work I did during my Fellowship made me want to pursue the field of education relating to international development. I obtained my Masters of Education in Adult Learning and Global Change from the University of British Columbia in 2013.
2008 / Burkina Faso / International Microfinance and Microenterprise (IMM)
My hope was to remain in international development. I entered the Fellowship post-MBA and after a brief stint in investment banking. I felt strongly that a space that merges social and financial principles was a great fit for me.
2009 / Tanzania / International Development Management (IDM)
I am greatly indebted to this program – I’ve married and settled in Zanzibar. Not only that, but I firmly believe that the program gave me invaluable experiences and built skills essential for work and life in a cross-cultural environment.
